Canoe & Kayak Rentals
Discover the natural beauty found along the Swatara Creek. You decide
whether you'd like an all-day trip or a 2-3 hour excursion! Our canoes
each have 3 seats and have an 800 lb. capacity while our kayaks are the
one person sit-in variety.
Inner Tube Rentals
Splash & frolic in the Swatara or have a long, leisurely float
by using our shuttle service to the Appalachian Trail. Our tubes
feature a durable nylon cover with a 5-inch hole in the bottom so even
younger kids can safely enjoy floating.
All canoe & kayak rentals must take-out at our campground.
Livery Service available for all Watersports Rentals
The Swatara is a pleasant novice run of moving water that courses a
lazy path through mountain gaps and scenic farm country. You can put down
the paddle, fish & float away the miles as you relax the day away.
The Swatara is a good stream to run, even until late in the season.
While floating the "Swattie", you'll have the opportunity to pass through
Swatara State Park, a park that is currently undeveloped but open to the
public for hiking, biking, fishing & hunting. The Park hosts Union
Canal locks, fossil beds, a rail trail & the Appalachian Trail Bridge.
